Hi my name is Yotam I am 13 years old and I have recently been researching how to make money, I am now trying to start a Pod shop it is quite difficult because all the videos I found are not really up to date or do not show step by step, I know I have to be over 18 to create a Pod shop But I am trying to create a store on my parents name. I was wondering if you could make a video explaining how to create a print on demand store or in general a way for a child my age to make money (and not as a babysitter). I hope you will take me seriously despite my age, thanks. By the way, do you have a Discord group?

Here's interesting fact, who's making money after his etsy course?
P.S. Most of them sell just a dream, a lot of things, they didn't say.....

ppl not making it likely isn't his fault. most people don't actually wanna put in the work it takes to get where they want to be. while I didnt sign up for his course I 100% believe there is value in it EVEN for sellers like myself who already know most things about etsy and have successful shops running.

@ebayseller6040 nah he makes it seem way too lucrative and easy. Been doing POD for ages and no way is he making 100k profit per month. Zero chance.

Too many people on Etsy now the big money has already been made.   You to get into this around 2 to 3 years ago during Covid.  Just google Etsy and you will get a 1000 links with articles talking about this

@alex I used your code and set up a shop to drop ship as you outlined, and it was immediately banned. Can you offer any insights?  Does not seem as easy as it sounded..

Depends what you were selling… certain items are banned, and going from your username here, that is probably why…?!

Just appeal the ban. It's somewhat 'normal' for a brand new shop to get suspended if Etsy can't immediately verify the owner's information. They'll reinstate it if you didn't break any rules

@@FunnyShellBear Lol, appreciate the comment! Further context..  I swear I'm a small business designer trying to sell my apparel, as-intended on a small business designer marketplace for original products. Maybe I misread something in the 30 page "Terms of Service", but I'm not sure what makes @etsy think I'm a scamful Chinese ripoff bot or whatever. Totally lame and counter to the mantra of Etsy, but who cares about that right. The algorithm said no.  It just seems odd that I followed Alex's direction to sell my clothing designs through drop-ship on Etsy, exactly how he does, and with zero explanation as to why (no email, no warnings, no communication at all from Etsy, a human, or a lawyer.. ;)  )  I'm now banned from Etsy forever.... I'm not the only one as I'm seeing the same exact scenario pop up all over Reddit. Seems like Etsy isn't going to be around much longer if that's what they're doing these days. I guess I should tweet them about it to get a real answer. Was hoping Alex might have insight...

@@alekSheffy Thanks for the comment! I immediately appealed the "decision" despite zero communication email or otherwise from Etsy explaining the ban, as their terms stated they would.  Just a ban notice with a link to appeal.  I submitted my appeal, and the response was essentially "we reviewed your appeal and have suspended your account permanently and any other accounts you try to create in the future" Like.. what? I feel there would need to be some major precedence and blatant violation of the platform or its users to make that kind of decision. It's either suspiciously vague on purpose (not sure what that reasoning would be), or Etsy is unknowingly sabotaging itself in order to dodge investing in an actual solution for combating fake sellers using drop-shipping. Totally contradictory in whatever scenario that I'm even having to write about this whole experience. If Etsy had a customer service email or chat or number, I would be sure to send them this information and appeal once again, but unfortunately that doesn't exist either for some reason :)
