i am hearing horror stories about etsy just randomly shutting down shops though and that they hold back money so unsure about that...

Hey Alek - do you run Etsy ads for your Etsy shops or no? If not, it would be amazing if you could make a video (if you haven't already) about optimizing Etsy listing SEO to appear higher up in searches. The over-saturation of Etsy is like the most unattractive thing to me about this biz model. Let me know - thanks.

all big shops do. they also run 24 hour sales(same thing runs every 24 hours lol). there is not much to it other than setting up everything else correctly first and make sure you  are actually selling first before running ads to that listing.
