“Cancer is a metabolic disorder...” this Dr. nailed it! Thank you for this great interview.❤

thank you kindly for this information. I'm adamant to put down the sugar. So i'm going to substitute for this. But i'm gonna really limit it, and maybe completely eliminate it.

ideally get a coffee that tastes good black, try a lighter roast but if you need sweetener stevia is a natural non-sugar zero calorie option, otherwise any non-cal sweeteners are better.
by (100 points)
@DianneOrwig333 you forgot there are studies linking stevia to cancer. You are replacing one thing that can give you cancer with another who can do the same, smart.

@@TanyaDavis954try to very slowly wean yourself off the sugar, by taking about a half teaspoon less oer cup, until you don't notice, then reduce the amount of sugar again, and so on.
Don't take sugar substitute.  They are not healthy.  As you reduce your sugar intake, you will find that you do not even enjoy sweet foods any more.  It is what your body gets used to.
by (100 points)
Your body doesn't distinguish between table sugar, honey, bread, pasta, rice, etc.   It all turn to sugar in your body.

Well done to Steve bringing him on. You can hear it in Dr. Seyfried's voice absolute understanding in this process and his battle to get it to the masses.

I literally was put to tears hearing this man speak. It was an honor to hear his story, a truly moving experience. With all the tragedy and disillusion in our current society, it gives me hope to see such radiant philanthropist at work.

Love how he laughs and Steven don’t know what to do. Thoroughly enjoyed this and learning lots as always. Thank you for all you do
by (100 points)
Yeah - saw that - Steven is straight faced and this guy is laughing from his gut - funny
by (100 points)
First time I've seen Steven react in this way.
It is unusual laughter, but it is Dr/Professor Seyfried's sheer frustration, and he's laughing not because it's funny, but at the absurdity of it all because he knows.
Loved his passion for all humanity, bless him.

that makes sense - I didn't think of it that way

A year ago, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and after undergoing chemotherapy, I feel that my body is in need of recovery. The doctors advised me to go through chemotherapy in order to survive, as I was diagnosed with Stage 3C. I actually discovered I had cancer when I started coughing up blood from my lungs. Now, after chemotherapy, it seems like the cancer has retreated, but my body is still suffering. I experience severe neuropathy in my feet and hands, some of my nails have fallen off, and the surgeries I underwent have left me feeling incomplete. I just don't feel the same anymore, but I am determined to do everything I can to regain my health.

That's why I am willing to give the keto diet a try.
by (100 points)
It will help so much. Fast, take vitamin d/k, curcumin with pepper. Starve th cancer. I wish you a long and healthy life.  I was recently diagnosed with leukemia- cll.  We can kick this!!!! ❤️

@@SUZSMITH I wish you all the strength and patience. <3

Eat garlic, as much as you can, every day for a month, then none for  two weeks, then eat as much as you can again for a month. Continue for a few years.same with other strong herbs , they can cleanse the body of all sickness,  eventually. Dont eat too  many types of strong things, keep it simple.
Good luck, god bless.
by (100 points)
You can do this!

Try fasting. Autophagy is almost miraculous
by (100 points)
I tried starving in 2020 for about 3 days and It was awesome experience. I think it teached me a lot. Mainly self discipline. Anyway I would like to try it but Im not sure how safe it is for me right now after all I been through... I lost half of my thyroid gland + i had 5 cycles of chemotherapy. I wanted to try keto but based on my missing gland I cant stop with carbs becuase it would make my hormonal imbalance worse.

Leukemia is a cancer from B12 deficiency. This is the reason we should eat RED meat and avoid or minimize anything from plants.

Reduce before you eliminate carbs. You can do this quickly by cutting out processed foods and drinks(sugar is almost always added), refined sugar, and high carb/high glycemic food. It requires reading and researching everything you eat, but within a couple of weeks your body will get used to less sugars and carbs to process. At that point doing keto will be much easier. The other way is to try cold turkey cutting out carbs and sugars but it takes a couple weeks and you’ll be irritable and moody and overall unhappy/agitated as you go through withdrawal. But if you go through the detox withdrawal, then it’s up to you to maintain through a total diet change. Intermittent fasting, water only drinking, and keto/very low carb diet will make a HUGE difference new. Hope you do it and see the benefits!

As a medical doctor and scientist I believe what he is saying is very probable and yet it is not being mentioned in the current medical education at all. Very grateful for the opportunity to listen to this so I can education myself and my patients differently.

Most Doctors know this, millions of regular everyday people know this, especially people with cancer like me, the Dr's go along with what big pharma says, and that's the law to these guys.
ago by (100 points)
Also, the effect of chronic stress on the body, immune system and ability of the GI tract to process food properly
ago by (100 points)
Doctors just follow orders. They don’t question what pharma tells them is “safe” and the “correct” method to use.
The big C that happened a couple years ago should confirm that.

Many, many, many channels discuss ketones and low carbohydrates. It's been around a long time.

Indeed, every channel the information is delivered to brings enlightenment to another cohort of people

Indeed, it's great to see him on this podcast. I was hoping to hear a bit more of his history, but I suspect Seyfried wouldn't have it. He's a Vietnam veteran for instance, but I've never heard him mention it. When he's on podcasts he usually starts very calmly and eloquently, but eventually some of the frustration comes though as he talks about thousands dying every day. He's disgusted by the medical establishment, and it's great to see social media taking him closer to his eventual Nobel prize.
ago by (100 points)
would you believe someone with more qualifications in his faeces than you?

You don't know bio chemistry!!@@Monkehrawrrr

This conversation opens our eyes to the importance of understanding cancer from a metabolic perspective. It's fascinating to think that lifestyle changes, like metabolic therapy, could potentially reduce cancer risk and even treat it more effectively than traditional methods!
